There are various means to scan slide and then transfer them into digital formats. Slides were commonly used long time back and many people still remember how these square plastic or cardboard cutoffs with negatives were tipped on trays at family gatherings. This may be a simple option to get good results, provided that one has proper knowledge of setting color, hues, effects, highlights and aperture settings. There are devices which can be linked to the camera and slide projector, such that when photos are displayed through these projectors the camera can capture the photo snaps. The prices may differ depending on the number of slides that are to be transported, but many photographers will find it penny- wise logical to have when they require scanning slides to turn them into quality images.
