As hard drive is a good way to store images and data, but there is always a need of back up method in case of motherboard failure, hard – drive failures and computer crashes. This is a best way to preserve the images or other data in a specific disk but the storage of the CD is less, so one needs to accumulate lot of CDs. DVD can solve this problem as DVD has a lot of storage space, so one can take a good advantage of blank DVDs.

Various companies provide “Digital Safe Storage” to the reader but they charge an annual fee from them. These websites offers full security to the files and data of the user at very affordable prices. However, there are also some sites that offer limited storage space without ant fee charge. So, these are the ways to store photos in all these mediums to preserve the images or other data files.
